Prue's recipe for Pain Patate
1 cup canned Sweet Potatoes, mashed
2 ripe bananas medium size
1 cup Coconut Milk
2 Tblsp. Brown Sugar
1/2 tsp. Salt
3 Egg yolks , beaten
3 Tblsp. chopped Raisons
1/2 tsp. Ginger
1/4 tsp. Nutmeg
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1 tsp. Vanilla
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Grease and flour a 9x9 baking pan
Mash potatoes and bananas together. Add all other ingredients and mix well. Pour batter into baking pan. Sprinkle a few whole raisons on top.
Bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours (90 min.) Check with toothpick, should be fairly clean.
Chill, slice and serve.

Maggie has released her first CD of children’s music: HERE COMES A BLUEBIRD
You can listen to clips on my website www.maggiemusic.com (click here) and buy it through CD Baby (click here) or Rising Stars (click here) (Phinney N & N 74th). I think the CD is really good for toddlers, preschool and early elementary ages, though grown ups like it too.

$2.5 million approved in 2008 budget for PNA
The Seattle City Council today approved $2.5 million in the 2008 budget towards the purchase of the Phinney Neighborhood Center from the school district. Thank you for your support!
