Village Harmony Summer Singing Camp 2007
Exciting news! Village Harmony is offering a fabulous world music singing camp for the first time in Oregon next summer. Nine days of bliss in the heart of the Cascades - singing, dancing, eating, playing (and a bit of sleeping) while exploring the world through song. A series of concerts tops it all off.
$675 includes all meals, accommodation, music instruction and materials.

Tegan is the daughter of Dick (tenor) and Becky Callahan. On Friday, June 29th, in the upper PNA (blue) building, in room 6, starting at 8:00 p.m.

Dr. Ysaye Barnwell - The Power of Song
Back To The Future 21 & 23 June 2007
On June 21 & 23, all singers are invited to experience The Power of Song, led by Dr. Ysaye Barnwell. This is a rare opportunity to work with this renowned song master and participate in a performance with Dr. Barnwell at Benaroya Hall on June 23 and The Sound of the Northwest, an African American spiritual choral group, for their 20th Anniversary concert, Back To The Future.

The Phinney Neighborhood Chorus is one of six local choruses invited to partcipate in a concert this month to benefit the Katrina victims. We will sing several songs from our repertory, in addition to several songs to be learned on site and sung with the whole group.
The Total Experience Gospel Choir will be participating, and director Pat Wright will be teaching us the group songs by rote prior to the concert. The concert will be taking place at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Ballard, on Sunday February 25 at 4 pm. Please invite your friends and neighbors to support this wonderful benefit. Thank you!
